Nora got a Tag Reader for Christmas this year and it has been a wonderful addition to reading in our home. By no means is this an advertisement but man - we love it. She reads all of the time, not to mention all the cool learning modules, music and songs. She set up shop on the couch or here on the futon and reads all of her books. It is amazing. She looked way cute sitting there in her pretty snowflake nightgown on Saturday.
Check out the Nerf long-shooter that the Easter Bunny brought for Gavin. He is THRILLED! He thinks that it is riot that he can "shoot" at you. We were playing a game of Duck Hunt with Daddy as the duck. Pete rode around on the bike and Gavin tried to shoot him. We also set up targets. Fun was had by all.
I love it, I love it. Dylan is now eating all by himself. He is basically insisting on a utensil to eat, even when one is not necessary. He happily eats Cheerios with his fingers while holding a spoon. So, oatmeal it was...a spoon was "requested" and he was off. I have to say though that stickier items, such as oatmeal, works well for staying on the spoon. Applesauce tends to slide off the side before entering his mouth. He is very proud and quiet while concentrating on making it all happen.
